Privacy policy
Effective 9 October 2026 · Miaw Works, Pune, India · miaw@miaw-works.dev
This policy explains what personal data Miaw Works ("we", "us") collects through miaw-works.dev and our software, and how we use it. Questions: miaw@miaw-works.dev.
What we collect
- Browsing this site. We use no cookies, no analytics and no third-party trackers. Our hosting provider may keep standard server logs (IP address, browser, pages requested, time) for security and reliability, for a limited period.
- Email. If you email us, for example to request early access, we receive your email address, name and anything you include in the message.
- Theme preference. If you switch light/dark mode, that choice is stored only in your own browser (local storage) and never sent to us.
How we use it
We use your email only to reply, manage early-access and pilot requests, and send product updates you asked for. We do not sell, rent or trade personal data, and we do not use it for advertising.
Miaw QA Lab software
Miaw QA Lab runs on your own machines. Playtest data stays on your infrastructure unless you configure a hosted AI provider. If you choose a hosted model (for example Anthropic Claude), log lines, stack traces, design-doc excerpts and screenshots are sent to that provider under its terms; with a local model (Ollama) or no model, nothing leaves your machine. API keys are read from your environment and are never logged or sent to us.
Sharing
We share data only with service providers needed to run this site and our email (hosting and email providers), or when required by law.
Retention
We keep emails for as long as needed to handle your request or our relationship, then delete them. You can ask us to delete your data at any time.
Your rights
You can ask to access, correct or delete the personal data we hold about you, or to stop receiving emails, by writing to miaw@miaw-works.dev. We follow applicable law, including India's Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023.
Children
This site and our products are not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect their data.
Changes
We will post any changes on this page and update the effective date above.
